Pimmy - young tomten )
Pimmy is a funny little young tomten - without a beard, since he is not yet a 100 years old!
Pimmy is made from walk loden, cooked wool fabric and filled with real sheep wool. His head is tightly filled; his body less so to keep it really soft and nimble; He is great fun for toddlers or children. Of course, he can also be used as decoration, but he is so nice to touch, that he will move around in your or others' hands anyway! Pimmy is about 12.5 inch / 32cm long (without his hat)).
His hammer and pickaxe may look menacing - but they are for working in the mines as some tomtens are wont to do. They are made from wood and treated with acrylic paint. These items are not for children under 3.
His hat cannot be taken off. His jacket can; if you would like it otherwise: do let me know!
I usually make him from a mix of red and blue fabrics. Look at his feet: they can be different as well!
One picture shows a bag I made from cooked wool fabric. This bag neatly fits Pimmy, but it fits all kinds of things a kid may want to bring.
All my dolls are waldorf-inspired: handmade from all-natural materials and made to be played with.
